Since del.icio.us is down, this a note to self. How to make glossy buttons with rounded edges - I tested it out and it really works :-) .

  1. Today is the second day that delicious is down. My bad luck, I never backed up my delicious bookmarks. I am already looking at http://www.blinklist.com as a potential companion to delicious(*simpy.com* is another nice option, the only irritant being the weird URLs). Having you bookmarks at one place, is like using a single email provider.

  2. Good point Sandip. del.icio.us provides a rss export of your bookmarks - maybe a script that does an automatic backup of that to your desktop machine or your own server would be a better idea.
