Defination 1

Before he became a hermit, Zarathud was a young Priest, and took great delight in making fools of his opponents in front of his followers. One day Zarathud took his students to a pleasant pasture and there he confronted The Sacred Chao while She was contentedly grazing. "Tell me, you dumb beast," demanded the Priest in his commanding voice, "why don't you do something worthwhile? What is your Purpose in Life, anyway?" Munching the tasty grass, The Sacred Chao replied "MU". (The Chinese ideogram for NO-THING.) Upon hearing this, absolutely nobody was enlightened. Primarily because nobody understood Chinese.

Defination 2

Computer nerds believe that saying the mantra (prayer), Moo Moo Padme Hum, out loud or silently to oneself, invokes the powerful benevolent attention and blessings of the _FOO_BAR_GURU_, the embodiment of the _TRUE_HACKER_LANGUAGE_. Viewing the written form of the mantra is said to have the same effect -- it is often carved on cubicle walls and placed where people can see them.

It is said that all the teachings of the _FOO_BAR_GURU_ are contained in this mantra: Moo Moo Padme Hum can not really be translated into a simple phrase or sentence.

Repetition of Mooo dissolves the mind in it's Divine Source. If you chant Moo several times out loud it purifies the atmosphere (but sadly does not purify your coffee or clean your desk). Chant at least 7 Moo in succession. Make each breath last as long as possible. Take a deep breath in and start the exhalation with Mhhhhhhhhhhhhh then Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh then Ohhhh (shorter than the previous O). Then take another deep breath in and do the same thing again for seven repetitions. Then sit for a moment of Silence (with a capital s). You will be amazed!

Defination 3

It has been rumoured that if you chant the Moo sound 1.50130938 × 10^68 (42^42) times, you will get an insight into the reason why 42 is the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything.
